This Privacy Policy explains how Apex Empire AI, LLC (“Apex Empire AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information for Herald, including the public website at apexempire.ai and the Herald Personal AI product.
Herald is a device-first Personal AI. You talk to Herald. Personal memory belongs under your control on your device. Herald does not sell personal information and does not use your personal life as an advertising profile.
Not a medical product
Herald is not a medical device, healthcare provider, or licensed medical professional. Herald does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Nothing Herald says is medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Not a financial product
Herald is not a financial advisor, broker, tax professional, or financial institution. Herald does not provide investment, tax, or financial advice, and does not recommend buying or selling any security or product. Nothing Herald says should be used as the basis for a financial decision. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Herald is operated by Apex Empire AI, LLC. For privacy questions, deletion requests, or other inquiries, contact herald@apexempire.ai.
The public website is a static information site with an early-access form.
If you submit the early-access form, we collect the email address you enter, along with basic submission metadata such as the time of submission and that it came from the website.
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. That request may include standard technical data such as your IP address and browser information, which Google may process under its own policies.
When you load the site, our hosting provider may receive ordinary technical request data needed to deliver the page (for example, IP address, browser type, and the page requested). This website does not use advertising cookies, and it does not build an advertising profile about you.
We do not ask for payment card numbers, government ID, or Social Security numbers on this website.
Herald only knows what you tell it, or what you explicitly authorize it to access.
That can include conversation content you share and personal memories you create in Herald.
If you grant a device permission, such as a microphone so you can talk, Herald uses that permission only for the purpose you granted. Herald does not take additional on-device access without your authorization.
Herald is device-first. Personal memory belongs under your control on your device.
Your personal life in Herald is not a cloud advertising profile. It is not sold. It is not used to advertise other products to you.
Early-access email addresses are not Herald personal memory. They are stored separately, as described below.
Information may leave your device in these cases:
When you request an external or world capability, Herald may send only the information needed to perform that request.
External services do not become the authority over your personal truth. Your personal memory remains yours. Information returned from the outside world may help with a request; it does not replace or own the personal memory on your device.
We use service providers to operate Herald. These fall into general categories:
These parties process information only to provide their services to us, or as needed to fulfill a request you made. We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not allow service providers to use your personal life as an advertising profile.
If you join early access, we keep your email so we can invite you as Herald is offered to testers and users. We may also keep the time of signup and a simple note that the address came from the website.
This is server-side business and contact information. It is separate from Herald personal memory. Submitting your email does not give us your personal life, and it does not enroll you in a finished product.
The website does not send an automatic confirmation email when you join the list.
We do not sell the early-access list. We do not use it to advertise other companies’ products to you.
We keep early-access emails while the invitation list is in use, or until you ask us to delete your address.
Personal memory on your device remains under your control on that device. Deleting the Herald app, or using in-product deletion controls where available, removes personal memory from that device in the ordinary way device software is removed or cleared.
To request deletion of an early-access email we hold, or to ask what early-access information we hold about you, email herald@apexempire.ai. We will complete that request within 30 days.
You can revoke device permissions in your device settings (for example, microphone access). After you revoke a permission, Herald will no longer use that permission.
You can ask us to delete your early-access email as described above. You can also stop using the public website at any time.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information we hold, including the early-access list.
No method of transmission over the internet, and no method of electronic storage, is completely secure. This policy does not promise a specific encryption method, certification, or security outcome.
Our privacy principles are: device-first personal memory; no sale of personal information; no advertising profile built from your personal life; user authorization before additional access; and minimum-necessary data when you request an external capability.
Herald is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or other minors.
If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact herald@apexempire.ai. We will delete that information.
Herald is not a medical device or healthcare provider. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Do not use Herald as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated policy at apexempire.ai/privacy and change the effective date at the top of this page.
If a change is material, we will also notify people on the early-access list when we have a workable way to do so.
